The earliest Buddah label, used for the first few issues, is a stock red label with "BUDDAH
RECORDS" in an arc around the bottom, identical to the later multi-color label but moved together
without the statue silhouette.

This soon changed to the famous multicolored one with a black silhouette of a Shiva Indian statue
(obviously not a Buddha!) at the bottom of the label between the words "BUDDAH" and "RECORDS"
written in stylized black letters in the form of an arc. This label turned to a more yellow background (as
opposed to the first one which was mostly purple and pink) at least for one album (BDS 5107).

Between BDS 5113 (the last album we know of that was originally issued with the "silhouette" label)
and BDS 5114 (the first one we know that was originally issued with the brown label), the label changed
to brown with a pink outside circle. "BUDDAH RECORDS" is still written in the form of an arc, but this
time it is at the top the label in white capital letters, and the Shiva statue is replaced by a picture of a
"real" Buddha statue centered in the bottom half of the label.
