This small label seems to have run for a one or two years. It was apparently an arm of the
National General Cinema corporation (who produced films as National General Pictures), and operated
from 1 Carthay Plaza, Los Angeles. It was distributed by Buddah Records.
The label is deep blue with silver letters and "National General Records" written in a yellow on the left
side of the label with a special logo (the letters N & C captured in a large G). The following text is written
in small yellow print in the form of an arc at the bottom of the label: "NATIONAL GENERAL RECORDS
- DISTRIBUTED BY BUDDAH RECORDS INC NY". Promotional labels were white with black lettering,
using a different graphical design.
