By 1955, the 10" format was falling rapidly into disfavor with consumers, relative to the 12" format
which usually contained four more songs. Although 10" albums were still issued (until #627 in late 1955,
anyway), the 12" format quickly rose to take over. Most of the items on this page were released in 12"
format, except where noted.
