Columbia 10-inch Album Discography, Part 4:
Main Series (CL 6300 to CL 6341) 1953-1955

By Randy Watts, Mike Callahan, David Edwards, and Patrice Eyries
Last update: April 16, 2009

The label used for the CL-6300s was red (dark red to medium red) with champagne gold or silver print. The "COLUMBIA" name was at the top of the label, bending around the edge. There was a thin gold/silver circle concentric with the center hole and about a half-inch in from the label edge. Along the bottom edge it read, "LONG PLAYING" with the LP logo between "long" and "playing." At the bottom of the circle, as part of the circle, was fine print which had the three trade marks, "Columbia," the note-and-microphone logo, and Lp logo, along with "Trade Marks Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Marcas Registradas Made in U.S.A.".
