The Fantasy MPF-4500 series was a mid-price series ($5.98 list) that lasted from 1981 until vinyl
was discontinued at the end of 1989. It also included a reissue of most of the Creedence Clearwater
Revival albums on a sub-series called "Original Rock Classics" with an ORC- prefix.
The MPF-4500 series started with the "lightning bolt" label (far left). After a long series of CCR reissues that used the old blue Fantasy "Full Radial Stereo" labels, the remainder of the series used the aqua label with the purple logo (near left). |
