Bunky Album Discography
By Mike Callahan and David Edwards
Last update: April 9, 2009

The Bunky label was run by Bill "Bunky" Sheppard, Chicago-based producer of soul music, as a division of Scepter. During his time with Vee-Jay and Constellation records, Sheppard produced such acts as Gene Chandler, the Sheppards, and the Dukays. The Esquires were from Milwaukee, and provided the only hits for this late-'60s venture. The entire album output for the label consisted of one release.

The Bunky label had an orange and yellow web-pattern background, with a black field eclipsing the left quarter of the label. In the black field was "Bunky Records Inc." Around the bottom of the label it read, "Distributed by Scepter Records, Inc., 254 W. 54 St., New York, N.Y."
