In 1981-1982, Time-Life issued a series of records titled The Metropolitan Centennial Collection of Great Opera. Each volume was a 4-LP set with Included is a "lavishly illustrated" book with information about the artists, performance history, story and librettos in English and other languages. Pressings were by London Records or Angel Records. The volumes were issued with the STL-OP- prefix. We know of 12 volumes.
