By Mike Callahan, Randy Watts, David Edwards, and Patrice Eyries
Last update: February 20, 2008

These are 3-LP box sets. The box covers are different colors for the different volumes, each with a photo/drawing of the performer in a white rectangle. We know little about this series, and have seen few of these around. We will appreciate any help with album contents and additional cover scans.

We would appreciate any additions or corrections to this discography. Just send them to us via e-mail. Both Sides Now Publications is an information web page. We are not a catalog, nor can we provide the records listed below. We have no association with Time-Life or Warner Bros. Records. Should you be interested in acquiring albums listed in this discography (all of which are out of print), we suggest you see our Frequently Asked Questions page and follow the instructions found there. LEGENDARY PERFORMANCES SERIES (CD Sets):

In the mid-1990s, Time-Life came out with a similar series of 2-CD sets called Legendary Performers, with many of the same performers (having upgraded the Performers from "Great" to their performances being "Legendary" in the intervening years - in celebration of this upgrade, the CDs are gold plated). Information on that series is below.
