Astro Album Discography
By David Edwards, Patrice Eyries, and Mike Callahan
Last update: February 26, 2000

The Astro label was distributed by Cotillion and included in the Cotillion 9000 series. There was a single album issued on the Astro label, by a Houston-based rock quintet named Blackwell. The members of the band were Glen Gibson (lead vocal), Johnny Bundrick (keyboards), Jimmy Smith (guitar), Terry Wilson (bass), and Randy DeHart (drums).

Johnny Bundrick, a.k.a. Rabbit, played with Paul Kossoff (as Kossoff-Kirke-Tetsu- Rabbit) after Free's first split, then joined the newly regrouped Free (without Kossoff), before playing again with (Kossoff's) Back Street Crawler/Crawler. There he teamed up again with Terry Wilson, who had been involved, meanwhile, with Bloontz, another Texas band.
