Columbia Consolidated Series Album Discography, Part 3The catalog prefixes for the Columbia Consolidated Series denoted the labels, with C=Columbia,
E=Epic, F=Fillmore, H=Harmony, L=Columbia Legacy, M=Columbia Masterworks, S=Masterworks
Soundtracks/Original Cast recordings, Y=Columbia Odyssey, and Z=various distributed labels. G was
used to designate a double LP. There was often an additional letter indicating a price code (e.g., KC for
a deluxe priced LP on Columbia) or a number indicating the number of LPs in a set (e.g., M5 for a 5-LP
set on Columbia Masterworks).
Columbia's consolidated issues between 30400 and 30599 were all released in 1971.

Most of the Harmony label issues on this page (far left) had a light brown label with black print and a white logo at the top, and some small "fine print" in white around the bottom. Occasionally, the gold label with black print and a red logo and red "fine print" around the bottom was used for "Harmony Headliner Series" issues (near left). |
|
|
The Philadelphia International label (far left) was yellow-green with a red logo at the top. The RAK label had a photo of a sailboat in the background, with black print on the blue and white background. |
