The TFM 3100 (mono)/TFS 4100 (stereo) Series was the main series from 1963, when the label
changed its name from 20th Fox to 20th Century Fox, until it went inactive in the late 1960s. The label
was black with a gold band around it. At first, there was white lettering in the gold band. Later after ABC
took over distribution in 1966, the white lettering was changed to grey. The ABC-distributed albums had
a small ABC logo on the cover and said "Distributed by ABC Records, Inc." on the bottom of the label.

S 3100 - The Little Drummer Boy - Harry Simeone Chorale [1966] Stereo version
reissued after ABC began distribution. Same stereo content as TFS 4100, but the album was
re-equalized and possibly remixed to a louder and more pleasing sound. "The Little Drummer Boy,"
while still rechanneled, avoids the stark bass-treble separation of TFS 4100 in favor of a more ambient
sound. Sing We Now of Christmas-Angels We Have Heard on High-Away in a Manger-What Child is
This?-Joy to the World (S)/Go Tell it On a Mountain (S)/It Came Upon a Midnight Clear-Good King

been issued both with the old and new prefixes, depending on stock of jackets at the different pressing
plants. Both prefixes should be considered original pressings. We have listed the TFM/TFS prefixes

prefixes, although some issues (for example, 4211) exist with the old prefixes. One odd number is TFS

which it was issued.
