Josie got into the album business rather late, as most of the labels singles artists issued albums on Jubilee (e.g., the Cadillacs' material). That said, most of the Josie albums were reissues of earlier albums on Jubilee. All ten of the Josie Jazz LPs were reissues.

Much of the Josie material of interest to collectors has been reissued on CD. A selected list of related compact discs follows the Josie discography.

		The first Josie album label (far left) was cream colored with blue printing, "josie" at the top of the label in a blue oval. This label was used until 4009. The second Josie label (near left) was light brown with black printing, "josie" at the top of the label in a black oval sitting on a field of multi-colored vertical stripes from the top of the label to a white horizontal line through the center hole. It was used for 4010 through 4012.
		The third Josie label (far left) was light tan with black printing, "JOSIE" spelled vertically to the left of the center hole in colors. This was the original label for only the last album, JOS-4013, although it was used for later pressings of earlier albums. The label used for all ten of the albums in the Josie Jazz Series (near left) was yellow with black print, with a large "J" in a red box starting a red italic "Josie" at the top.
