A-10 - Apollo Presents... Hawaiian Music ...by the Mary Kaaihue Trio - Mary Kaaihue Trio
[Mary Kaye Trio] [2/8/47] This was a typical 78-rpm album, featuring three 78-rpm singles in brown
paper sleeves bound into the hard cover record album. In fact, these 78 albums were the reason that we
currently speak of vinyl LPs or CDs as "albums," even though they no longer bear any physical
resemblance to the old photographic albums. The Mary Kaaihue Trio later shortened their name to the
Mary Kaye Trio, and were popular during the 1950s and early 1960s, with some late 1950s hits on
Warner Bros. Disc 1: Makalapua (Your Eyes Are Like Flowers)//Hooheno No Beauty (The Beauty Hula);
