Clan Records was a subsidiary of Synthetic Plastics Company. The sole album on the label was a
"musical satire" along the lines of the earlier album The First Family (on Cadence). Such was the
times that this was one of SPC's biggest sellers. The title is a takeoff on another series of comedy
albums
by Allan Sherman (My Son The Folk Singer, My Son The Celebrity, My Son The Nut...).
The Clan label was black with silver print. |
