Oldies 33 was the album counterpart to Vee-Jay's ubiquitous Oldies 45 label. Oldies 45 was to the 1960s and 1970s what Collectables is to the 1990s through today. To use more modern terms, Oldies 33 was a budget oldies subsidiary for reissue of back catalog.

The Oldies 33 label is red/orange with either white or black printing, with "OLDIES 33" above the center hole. The promotional label is white with black printing, with "OLDIES 33" above the center hole.
