The Rhino 600 series started as an EP series in 1981, along with a series starting with 650 that was
shaped colored vinyl Eps. By the time the 600 series changed to 70600
series in 1987, the series expanded to include regular issues. It became the major series for Rhino's
Billboard collection. In the process, the 650 series was forgotten and the numbers were reused
as 70650, etc. The original RNEP 650 series is presented below, followed by the entire 600/70600
sequence.
