By the early 1960s, the King label had changed to the black King label with the larger print for the mono albums (far left). The albums issued in 1960 may all have the earlier label design, but the changeover was likely to have been gradual due to using up old label blanks. Most of the albums on this page used labels with the large letters. Stereo labels (near left) were blue with silver print, with the large letters. |
