Beltone Album Discography

Beltone was a King Records subsidiary. They released only one album, the Tossin' & Turnin' album by Bobby Lewis. The album was originally issued in mono only, but in 1982 the Line label in Germany reissued the album in true stereo. The stereo version of the hit "Tossin' & Turnin'" had a short intro that had been edited off the 45 version, and was missing some hi-hat overdubs in the bridge. The original Beltone LP has the 45 version.

Some subsequent CD reissues of the album have edited off the intro, but the hi-hats are still missing. The stereo version has appeared on several various artist compilations, both with and without the intro.

The Beltone album label (far left) is orange with black printing. The top half of the label is black with "BELTONE" in black in a curving orange oval. At the bottom of the label is "DISTRIBUTED BY KING RECORDS, INC." The singles label (near left) is similar to the album label.
