The Look label was a short-lived subsidiary of Starday-King Records that was apparently to have
specialized in mellow rock music. There were apparently only two albums issued.
The first was a debut album by the four-man rock group Heart, who hailed from the Albuquerque area.
After recording one album in 1969 for Look, they switched to the parent King label for a second album,
Have a Heart in 1970, and then signed with Motown as a duo in 1972 and released a third album,
also called Heart, for Motown's Natural Resources subsidiary.
The second Look album was a mellow harmony album by the duo Jim Siegling and Frank Larrabee.
The Look album label (far left) was orange with black print. At the top is a weird eye logo giving the label a kind of cyclops appearance. The singles label (near left) was yellow with black print, with the same logo at the top. |
