The Scepter Citation Series was started in 1972 to reissue many of the hits from Scepter and
Wand, including masters leased from other labels. The labels were various colors, including red and
yellow, with black print. All had the same design, which was minimalist.

The Bunky label was run by Bill "Bunky" Sheppard, Chicago-based producer of soul music, as a division
of Scepter. During his time with Vee-Jay and Constellation records, Sheppard produced such acts as
Gene Chandler, the Sheppards, and the Dukays. The Esquires were from Milwaukee, and provided the
only hits for this late-'60s venture.
BS-300 - Get on Up and Get Away - Esquires [1968] The matrix number "BSLP-46" is

Pricewise was a Scepter budget line subsidiary that lasted barely a year. It's interesting to note that the
label used was essentially the original (and by then discarded) Scepter "scroll" label, with "Pricewise"
