International Award Series Records was a division of the K.M. (Keel manufacturing) Corporation,
which originally was in Freeport, Long Island, New York. KM was Pickwick's manufacturing arm. The
International Award Series label was originally the Bravo label, but about at catalog number 159,
Pickwick
changed the label name. The albums issued on International Award before catalog number 159 are
reissues of the Bravo albums.
The first International Award label was black with gold print. Stereo releases had the same album cover as the mono releases, but had a gold "Stereo" stamp on the front. | ||
The second International Award labels featured a globe. Mono labels had a blue and white globe, while stereo had a yellow and white globe. |
